I assess credit applications and maintain relationships for small and medium-sized business clients. The working output is a list of outstanding material for the client and colleagues involved in the credit assessment.

About
The day-to-day work
When a client sends a financing request and the available documents, I first establish what the current version covers and what is still missing.
Work involving Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area resource coordination moves material between the client and branch colleagues. Each hand-off needs a note on what has arrived, which questions remain open, and who receives the material next.
I keep those points in one follow-up record so that the next discussion can begin with the outstanding items.
Work
Three areas I handle regularly
Each area has a different audience, set of documents, and follow-up.
I design cross-border trade finance arrangements. The note sets out the intended use, transaction arrangement, and open document requests for the client and branch colleagues.
I coordinate branch resources across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area and work with manufacturing clients in the Pearl River Delta on financing needs. The record identifies the current document version, coordination items, and next recipient for branch colleagues.
Field note
What a cross-border financing request needs to explain
The requested amount is only one part of a financing discussion. This note looks at how credit materials, trade arrangements, and coordination across branches relate to the same business need.
